Additive-Mediated Selective Oxidation of Alcohols to Esters via Synergistic Effect Using Single Cation Cobalt Catalyst Stabilized with Inorganic Ligand
Oxidative esterification of different benzylic or aliphatic alcohols with methanol. Reaction condition: cat. 1 (1.0 mol%), aromatic alcohol (1.0 mmol), 30% H2O2 (4.0 equiv), CH3OH (2 mL), KCl (0.2 equiv) at 70°C for 36 h. Yields were determined using GC-Ms and column chromatography.
