Endothelium-Mimicking Multifunctional Coating Modified Cardiovascular Stents via a Stepwise Metal-Catechol-(Amine) Surface Engineering Strategy
Amine-rich metal-catechol-(amine) surface coating for NO generation. (a) Schematic illustration of the one-step assembly of MCAN-based coatings on a 316L SS cardiovascular stents. Phenolic compound (dopamine (DA) and HD) and Cu2+ are chosen for preparing NO-generating coatings. By mixing CuII, DA, and HD, the cardiovascular stent is facilely coated with CuII-DA/HD film.
